Posted by Bxgourmet on Monday, August 31st 2026: In Reply to: Lightning Strikes posted by Peter C on Sunday, August 30th 2026: Waiting for a bus home from Orchard Beach, lightning hit a tree near the bus shelter. It was very close by and loud with a bright flash. We later learned that a father and his son were under that tree. I'm not sure if they were hurt or not.
