I know for many special occasions, ie; graduations, and I think Mother's Days we sometimes went to Patricia Murphy's in Yonkers. (Or as my Jewish grandmother called it, Patricia Moishe's) I loved that place. Anyone else? No one had a car back then. We would walk to Bedford Park Blvd and Jerome Ave and pick up the Westchester bus for the ride out of town, up the Deegan.
