Long time Bronxboarders probably recall the always joyful contributions of Sammy Schwartz over the years. I recently learned he sadly passed away last year at the age of 86. What I especially remember about his postings is that whether he shared stories of growing up on Cruger Ave. near Allerton, or added enthusiastic comments on the mystery photos, he treated everyone on this Board as if you were his best friend from the hood. A true Bronxboard Hall of Famer. May his memory be a blessing.
