When I lived in Rego Park, I did not use Queens in my address. Do you think those living in Rockaway or Coney Island use Queens or Brooklyn, respectively?

Those of us born and raised in the Bronx do not know how to be snobs or "ashamed" of where we came from. Our roots are there. Our memories are there. And, we are who we are because of where we came from. No, there is no shame. There is only pride. Maybe you did not grow up when we did and cannot relate. Perhaps, then, it is you who has mixed feelings about being from the Bronx.
