Danny - I grew up in THE BRONX and am proud of growing up in the lovely Kingsbridge neighborhood with families whose grandparents were immigrants for the most part. We never looked at each other as this or that. We were just FRIENDS who shared a great childhood. I went to PS 86 in Kingsbridge, then PS 7 in Riverdale and graduated from Walton HS and I am still friends with most of my childhood friends.
Since then I've lived in many New York areas. When I lived in Manhattan, when asked where in Manhattan,I always answered upper east side for that was what the area referred to.
I moved to Riverdale after Covid started as it was still beautiful, familiar and nicely located to New Jersey, Manhattan, Westchester, Queens and Connecticut. I love living here.
I resent your implication that I am ashamed of living in the Bronx or that I want to impress anyone. Or both. You clearly have issues you need to address.
