I moved out my apartment building at 2102 Aqueduct Avenue in 1974. 8 years later the landlord torched the whole edifice. Thank God no one was living there but it was sad to see the burnt shell of my childhood stand as a victim of urban greed. Today the property is part of a townhouse dwelling. At least it resurrected into the American dream of home ownership for several decent hardworking families.
