For displaced, misplaced, and nostalgic ex-Bronxites

Posted by John on Wednesday, January 21st 2026: In Reply to: Riverdale Elitism posted by Donna K on Sunday, January 18th 2026: grew up in the definitely “Non Elite” middle class North Riverdale (Pop was on the cops, Mom taught school) before postal zones – Bronx 63 - and way before Zip Codes, and we always referred to the more affluent areas as “Fieldston.” Does anybody know why the main north-south streets of the neighborhood - Huxley.
