For displaced, misplaced, and nostalgic ex-Bronxites

Posted by Chris on Wednesday, December 31st 2025: Always looked forward to the stroke of midnight New Year's Eve. Our parents would allow myself, sister, brother and cousins to bang the pots and pans with cooking utensils out in the hallway in our building. I'm sure the older residents who maybe went to sleep early on the floor weren't too happy but us kids sure had a good time and it was only for a couple of minutes. Happy New Year to all !
