For displaced, misplaced, and nostalgic ex-Bronxites

Posted by Chris on Tuesday, November 18th 2025: In Reply to: Harrison Avenue posted by Barbara on Saturday, November 15th 2025: Wow just a few years ago the private house a few doors south at 1905 Harrison Avenue was sold to a developer to make way for a multi apartment building. The west side of Harrison Avenue was predominantly well kept private homes all the way down to Morton Place back in the 60s and 70s when I lived at 1934 Harrison. Some of the best hiding spots when playing ring alevio were on the staircase porch landings of those private homes.The developers must be offering big bucks for these homes and eventually they will all be sold and replaced by multi family dwellings.
