1963-1966 I remember two distinct styles. I called them prepie and cool. I will give two examples. Park Chester was a prepie neighborhood. They wore madras shorts/shirts and penny loafers. During the winter they wore suede jackets. Arthur Ave and Morris Park wore banlon shirts, dark dress pants, sandles or black. During the winter months, Leather coats and construction boots were popular. (I fell into the Arthur Ave. category)
