I went there in '53/54. I took a drive through where the camp was....I didn't even recognize it.
I loved that camp.........funny, the songs we sang, I found myself singing on demonstrations....
i.e. Down By The Riverside (Ain't Gonna Study War No More), etc.
My sister and I went there because my father was able to get on a sliding scale so it was affordable .
I learned to swim there.......we took trips to Catskill Game Farm (recently closed), Bish Bash Falls,
Miller's Farm......my sister was across the way - I think it was called Camp Bell. Great memories.
