There are two resources I can think of that might help. One is the NYC Department of Buildings and the other is the NYC Department of Records. Both have web sites you can probably access to get your foot in the door. Many of the apartment buildings in the Bronx were built between 1900 and 1950, so it's possible what you're looking for may be 100 years old or so. A lot of old municipal data is being digitized but there are several millions of pages waiting. Good luck.
