Hi, L.R.

During my growing up years of the 1940s and 50s, my Cruger Avenue block of mostly private homes had a mixture of Catholic and Jewish families. Our next-door neighbors, who became very close friends with us over the years, attended services at the Immaculate Conception Church on Gun Hill Road. Although I do not recall hearing them refer to our Allerton Avenue/White Plains Road neighborhood as being "Immaculate Conception Parish", I presume they did! Could I be correct? Please let me know. Thanks!

Sammy
