Yes, Steve - long time! I enjoyed reading about Your Parkchester memories and experiences in which you, Phil and others who grew up there could relate to so accurately. It inspired me to add my "two cents" by recalling my spectacular view of the Parkchester skyline which stretched from east to west over central Bronx!

Thank you for your fascinating anecdotes which further describes Parkchester history regarding the impact of the Catholic Protectory, the Spanish Influenza of 1918 resulting in your grandmother`s success in finally getting Mary to live with her and Babe Ruth`s Parkchester "connection" at the stadium where the Oval is today.
