We didn't do trick or treat on halloween..just pulled pranks like throwing water filled balloons from the roofs of apartment buildings or unscrewing light bulbs in parkchester apsrtments and ringing door bells then jumping in elevators and leaving the building laughing! No harm done. That was in the later 40's to early 50's
We did dress up like hobos on thanksgiving........asking for something for thanksgiving...maybe got a few pennies or a nickel!
Anyone remember that????
