I didn't live in Parkchester proper but I did go to St Helena Grammar on Benedict Ave. Had a lot of friends there. The St Helena bazzar every fall (won a transistor radio. What's that?)

I remember going to Macy's, the oval fountains for Easter pictures, Christmas lights across Metropolitan Ave.

Robert Hall clothes on Westchester across from St Helena, Park Abbey funeral home, (had the chime clock) The Chester House, Harmony Records on Unionport Rd. & Tremont Ave. (torn down)
