Mike, If you are referring to 1951 playoff game, Bobby Thompson hit the home run off Ralph Branca.
Many years later it was revealed that Thompson knew what pitch was coming, a fast ball.
The Giants had a spy stealing Campenella’s signals and relayed them to Thompson.
However, he still had to hit the ball afterwards known as, “The Shot Heard ‘Round the World”.
