I was born in 1960 so as far back I remember we always had a TV. I vividly remember when we got our first color TV in 1965. It was a 27 inch Magnavox console with a record turntable and AM/FM radio. My father bought it from an electronics store on the corner of Burnside avenue and Jerome avenue. I don't recall the name of the store. I passed it so many times in my youth. Maybe someone here recalls the name of the establishment.
