"The Big Hill" as we called it - from Anthony Avenue and East 176th Street down to East Tremont Avenue. It's one of the straightest hills in the Bronx. Our local fire department FDNY Engine 42 on Monroe Avenue, sometimes brought their trucks over there to practice different maneuvers.

A smaller hill - Prospect Place, from Clay Avenue to Anthony Avenue was a block from my house and good for sleigh riding.
