Yeah ,that store was knife headquaters. But the ban came in late 1957. Many places still sold under the counter.Remmember the Deuce(42 st),all the joints west of 7th ave,had switchblades in the windows after the ban. But they were just junk stilettoes with a button glued on.BTW,as a knife "nut" I can tell you that there now legal(and for sale) in 40 states. Natch not NY
