Sammy I lived in The Marble Hill Projects on 228th Street. Our zip code was 10463 which was and still is a Bronx. We voted in the Bronx and all governmental items were taken care of in the Bronx. As far as I know all Manhattan zip codes start with 100. I was told the Harlem River was diverted from Kingsbridge Road to where the bridge at 225th Street and Broadway now stands. I was born on 124th Street in Harlem and till age 13 lived in a couple of places in Manhattan but in 1953 moved into 228th Street. Also lived in a number of places in the Bronx until a number of years later I moved to Maryland with a wife and three children I was then and remain today a PROUD BRONXITE.
