My Mom worked in Alexanders and my dad was a union worker in the printing business...neither made a
lot of money but it didn't matter. We had everything we needed.....being raised in the Bronx in a
building with instant friends was all I needed....but still we went to the country and I got to go to a
camp in Copake, NY for two years because they only took enough money that your parents could
afford.
The country was $125/month.....not one of the big hotels - but the best memories every.

Sometimes, in some cases like mine, being less then middle class was a blessing
