From the 5th floor of 1990 Gleason Ave. facing north, I had a view of the Parkchester / E.177th St subway station until around 1966 when a high rise was built on Newbold Ave near Hugh Grant Circle. On the south side I could see the lights of Shea Stadium, until another high rise was built on Lafayette Ave next to Adlai Stevenson High School. Other that that I just saw brick walls.
