Hi, Alvin!

I had a number of street routes (I never used the sidewalk) starting from my building. My favorite and most memorable ride was going north along Barnes Avenue, crossing Lydig Avenue to Pelham Parkway South. I then turned east on Pelham Parkway South where I picked up a parallel bicycle path right after Muliner Avenue and continued several blocks to Williamsbridge Road. I then crossed over the wide Pelham Parkway to Esplanade. At Esplanade, I turned northeast to Waring Avenue where a portion of Waring Avenue had a steep hill going toward Eastchester Road. That downhill ride along Waring Avenue was a highlight of my bike trip where I often stopped off to visit a schoolmate friend who lived on Morgan Avenue, between Waring and Mace Avenues.

Regards,
Sammy
