Which neighborhood would I pick??? I would pick ANY of the four Bronx neighborhoods where I lived as being the "best": Edenwald (on Monticello Avenue and East 233rd Street), Allerton/White Plains Road, Pelham Parkway and Kingsbridge. My connection with each of them (especially Allerton/ White Plains Road where I spent my growing up years) only brings back fond memories of living in a SAFE environment, having the convenience of public transportation, all the stores necessary for our everyday shopping needs, clean streets, excellent schools, friendly neighbors, nearby parks and playgrounds. I often come back to visit them from my Long Island home.
