When we needed soles, or other shoe repairs, we took them to a place on Burnside Avenue,
I keep thinking Old King Cole...but maybe his name was something Cole.....

Not only did we wear red boots...but they sell those same boots for about $100!!! I got a black
pair in Park Slope before the prices sky-rocketed and I've had them for years.
