We all know it is West Farms Square, but the official ID describes the elevated trestle in the background as being the Bronx River Parkway. Others said it is the remnant of the NY, W & B (the Westchester) railroad, which is correct. In a small book, "East Bronx", by Bill Twomey there is a similar picture on p. 10 from 1918. It clearly shows the support structure for the overhead wires that the Westchester used. And of course the Bronx River Parkway surely wasn't anywhere nearby in 1918.
