Actually, Dave is wrong because the street that Turkey is crossing in that opening scene is two-way, and Creston Avenue is a one-way street. Cary is correct although he missed a few key clues that support his description. Valentine Avenue is a two-way street. As Turkey is crossing, you can see some trees from Poe Park at the end of the block on the left (at 192nd Street). He also passes by the plain wall with a movie-theater fire-escape. That was the side of the RKO Fordham, whose rear/side exit was on Valentine Avenue between Fordham Road and 192nd Street. But Dave is right about The Wanderers having many scenes filmed in the Bronx while A Bronx Tale had only a few.
