I had never noticed, or even heard of, Risse Street at the north end of the Concourse, although I must have driven past it many times over the years while living in The Bronx. Thanks, Saul, for that great piece of Bronx "trivia"! Speaking of the north end of the Concourse at Mosholu Parkway, the Concourse doesn`t quite make it to Jerome Avenue. It just misses crossing under the Jerome Avenue underpass and elevated subway tracks by a FEW FEET! The Concourse ends immediately before Mosholu Parkway crosses under Jerome Avenue.
