Do you remember eating lunches in your high school’s cafeteria? One of the lunches they served at DeWitt Clinton, when I went there [Class of 1969] had the name of “Turkghetti”. The dish consisted of dark meat turkey which they chopped up and mix with gravy that then got placed over spaghetti.

At least this had been better than their spaghetti with mystery sauce. This dish always got served the day after they served hotdogs. The hotdogs were cut into slices, the slices then got cut into four pieces [wedges] which got mixed into a meat sauce which also contained ??? and finally got ladled over, you guessed it, SPAGHETTI.
