Hi again, Misterl... So far, I `ve had no luck in finding the year of the demolition of the NY,W&B trestle over Tremont Avenue, BUT...I learned that the tracks were removed from structures south of !80th Street, leaving those structures which, included the Tremont Avenue trestle, abandoned! The "new" Bronx River Parkway, even under construction, would look very different from that railroad crossing because it would have more concrete in its structure, as well as a much WIDER and HIGHER aappearance than what seems to be an "aging" railroad trestle. Also, the Bronx River Parkway`s location would be slightly further east from where the trestle crosses Tremont Avenue, DIRECTLY south of the 180th Street Station of the former Dyre Avenue shuttle line.
