The building I lived in was 5 storys and had 6 apartments. The landlord lived on the 1st floor. The building was kept pretty good. The owners were a husband and wife;no childern; the wife was "The Boss" as we used to the landlord.

She was raving maniac! She screamed and yelled at the tenents through the dumbwaiter. Calling them all kinds of names. Sometime after I left the area, the building was sold. It was much better, except because the apartment was rent-control, the owner was always trying to evict my parents. He failed!

My parents lived there for 45 years. They didn't want to leave the neighborhood. Now the area has changed and I don't know who owns it or what type of tenents live there.
