Pat D., a Bronx Board user, writes: "This is a little independent film made circa 1988. It was directed by Nancy Savoca, and starred (pre-famous) Anabella Sciorra. The story revolves around an Italian Wedding in the Bronx, and it was shot on location in the Van Nest area. It has everything - Bronxites, great shots of Morris Park Avenue, Williamsbridge Road, etc. and references to places like Rhinelander Avenue. For people who left before the late 80's it could be a real treat."

Also with Julie Kavner, Ann Meara, and Penelope Ann Miller. Look for scenes on Fordham Road, in the Botanical Gardens, and Eastchester Bay.
