Sammy, where I lived on WPR was directly across from where the 3rd Ave started. I could look out the window and count the amount of people getting on it and the ones that were seated. When I went tto work I would take the 7th ave. down either 34th St or 42nd St and walk to work. I worked for Hallmark Greetings cards on 37th St until July 1952 and left for Albany to work and then joined the military.
