Remember it well sat underground in train at 42nd street for three hours till police cleared the train and led us up to street. Then walked to my in laws in Jackson Heights another few hours. Everyone was pleasant bars invited us in for free drinks and many drivers picked me up and drove a few miles till they reached their destination. My daughter was born the day before and I had pockets full of cigars to give out which I did the beginning the next day when I finally got to Jewish Memorial Hospital. Looking back it brings many pleasant memories.
