In the 50's & 60's Bainbridge-Perry Ave- Webster Ave. area was a mix of Irish, Italian and German with a few WASPS.Mosholu & Gun Hill heavily Jewish.By the 80's a huge influx of Irish immigrants dominated the E. 204th st. area.It was truly a "Little Ireland",It didn't last long, a few well publicized rapes and murders etc., triggered a hasty retreat to Woodlawn Nowadays the area is basically just another dangerous Bronx "ghetto", Beyond tragic.
