WOW, Paul! How PROUD you must be to have such a family heritage associated with our American military history. Thank you for sharing your story!

I am proud to say that my great-granduncle, Jacob Levy, who emigrated to the United States from Prussia in the early 1860s, enlisted in the Union Army (The Grand Army of the Republic) to serve his new country as a soldier in the Civil War.
