How many Public Schools were there in the Bronx? How did the Board of Education decide where to locate the schools? It seems as if the numbering scheme was haphazard? Were any identical to one another (layout and number of class rooms etc)? Why were there so many variations in dimensions from schoolyard to schoolyard? Were all paved with concrete (e.g. PS-67)?
