Having lived in a building with a terrace for over thirty years, I can say that my view off my terrace is rather nice, I had trees just outside the terrace and in the spring and summer listen to the birds, watch the squirrels play tag and listen to the leaves when a cool breeze pushed the leaves around. I could sit and watch the activities of those getting on or off the bus, and watch the traffic go by, watch the calming water of the reservoir or look over at the Palisades and the GW bridge.......many warm summer nights I can sit and feel the cool breezes on my face, read a book or listen to the radio, I don't have to leave my terrace to find an adventure, I just close my eyse and my mind will take me whereever I want to go.....all from my terrace.
